consider changing the plugs one time. You only use 6 quarts of ATF when you change the filter - a straight drain and refill is about 4qts

i was so paranoid about the amount of fluid to go in that we drained the transmission into empty oil gallons, and exactly 1.5 gallons came out of that transmission and the same amount went in. I literally saw two quarts come out from where the filter was
I was fortunate because i only bought 6 quarts of the amsoil

Actually the mech checked the plugs and they look good- has denso
Took the fozz out for a spin tonight and she runnin like a theif!

When you remove the AT filter you drain fluid from the torque converter. Still plenty remains so not a true full "flush". I used Redline D4 ATF for about 2 years no worries so Amsoil should be trouble free. I bought Spec-C's last case of Subaru ATF as I am swapping back. Did two changes in about a week. I figure 2 more and most of the Redline would be gone.

oh so it was you who bought out the ATF

Yeah my mech said it has alot more oil in there. Thats why i will do 1 to 2 more flushes and then i can leave for about 2 years. BTW what Diff oil are you using?
